On-Line Store Policies
Ordering Online - The main purpose of this web site is to provide a safe and secure place where you can select and buy from our range of tea, teapots and accessories. We need to obtain some information on you, our customers, so that we may process your order. Please be assured that this information will not be used for any other purpose than to supply you with the purchased goods. We do not retain cardholder information on this site or in any of our other computer systems or in any of our paper records. We want you to feel safe to order from us and to be assured of our commitment to providing you with the best service. 
  
Delivery Information - Delivery charges are calculated on a per-product basis. Delivery charges and delivery options associated with each item are displayed on the product information pages for the item and a total delivery price for your order is displayed on the checkout page. Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product detail page, It is our intention to dispatch all orders no later than the end of the first working day following the date of the order and no later than 3 working days following the date of the order. 
If for any reason your order cannot be dispatched within the normal time frame for the product, we will contact you and explain the delivery situation for your item and give you the choice of waiting until we can deliver the item or cancelling the order with an immediate full refund. 
  
Prices - Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. 
  
If You Change Your Mind! - when goods are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations, the Customer has the right to change your mind and to cancel an order within 7 working days. Reasonable care should be taken whilst the goods remain in their possession and goods must be adequately packaged when being returned back to us.  
  
Defective products - Any manufacturing defects in the Goods which under proper use appear within a reasonable period after delivery and which are due to faulty materials or workmanship will be made good by us either by repair or, at our sole discretion, by replacement or refund. Any claim for Goods or the defective parts should be returned together with proof of purchase and complete in the original packaging. Any claim for defective Goods or parts must be made in writing (specifying the date of purchase and invoice number) within a reasonable period of time after delivery. We reserve the right to inspect any Goods returned prior to issuing credit or other remedy for those Goods. 
  
Complaints - If you feel you need to complain about any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible by whatever means you feel most comfortable with, telephone, fax, e-mail or letter. We aim to resolve any complaints on the working day we receive them, if this is not possible we will always send an acknowledgement on the day we receive the complaint and let you know when we will be able to reply fully, which will always be within 5 working days.
