SENCHA FUKUJYU

Sencha Fukujyu is a superior grade of this very popular tea from high altitude slopes of Mount Fuji in Japan.
The tea bushes are covered in cloth for the last few weeks before picking so as to intensify the greenness of the leaf, the leaves are then steamed to stop them fermenting which produces a sweet, mild and smooth flavoured tea.

Storage  - store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight
Infusion - the leaves need to be infused at around 80 to 85°C for 5 to 6 minutes
